McpPreflight

Struct McpPreflight

Source
pub struct McpPreflight { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Consistent tools and bindings after excluding only failed optional servers.

Implementations§

Source§

impl McpPreflight

Source

pub fn owner(&self) -> &ActorOwner

Verified principal whose exact cache namespace supplied every binding.

Source

pub fn projection(&self) -> &McpStepProjection

Exact selected tools. Failed optional servers contribute no descriptors.

Source

pub fn servers(&self) -> &BTreeMap<String, PreparedMcpServer>

Matching generation-pinned bindings for downstream governed calls.

Source

pub fn warnings(&self) -> &[McpPreflightWarning]

Named availability failures to surface in the run’s diagnostics.

Source

pub async fn call_tool(&self, name: &str, arguments: Value) -> Result<Value>

Dispatch an already-governed name through its exact prepared binding. No legacy/global registry lookup or name-derived server identity occurs. The host must also restrict the name to its frozen model-visible step.

§Errors

Rejects absent tools/bindings and propagates readiness, generation, catalog, timeout and transport failures without replaying the call.

Source

pub async fn freeze_bindings( &self, companion: &McpRegistry, ) -> Result<McpRegistry>

Capture concrete, narrowed transports for host-authorized delegation. Only in-process tools are retained from the companion registry; its legacy MCP transports and connection recipes cannot enter this grant. This explicit handoff waits for lazy bindings without changing normal preflight behavior. The child receives no permission to reconnect.

§Errors

Fails on readiness, changed discovery, revocation or descriptor collision. A server that was optional during preflight cannot disappear silently once its prepared tools are being granted to a child.
