Request to an LLM driver.
Fields§
§messages: Vec<Value>Conversation messages.
tools: Vec<Value>Available tools in OpenAI function schema format.
cache_strategy: Option<CacheStrategy>Anthropic-specific: cache strategy to apply before sending. Ignored by non-Anthropic drivers.
thinking_config: Option<ThinkingConfig>Anthropic-specific: extended thinking configuration. Ignored by non-Anthropic drivers.
anthropic_system: Option<Vec<Value>>Anthropic-specific: system blocks (supports cache_control per block). When present, the driver uses these instead of extracting from messages. Ignored by non-Anthropic drivers.
extra_params: Option<Value>Provider-dialect-specific extra request-body parameters (CH-04), e.g.
from prompt_dialect::PromptDialectEngine::request_params. Merged
into liter-llm’s ChatCompletionRequest::extra_body by
LiterLlmDriver; ignored by drivers that don’t support it.
budget_contract: Option<RequestBudgetContract>Optional proven destination budget contract. Leaf drivers enforce this against their final wire representation immediately before dispatch.
